New publication alert!
4 November 2025
We are excited to announce the publication of the AspirE Training Curriculum, a comprehensive and freely accessible resource designed to support researchers engaged in qualitative inquiry.
What Is the Curriculum About?
This curriculum consolidates the content from three in-depth training sessions held within the AspirE project. It focuses on three essential pillars for ethical, rigorous, and open-data–aware qualitative research: (1) Research Ethics covering how to conduct qualitative research with integrity, respect, and transparency when working with human participants, (2) Data Analysis Tools such as NVivo, ATLAS.ti, and Network Canvas to provide practical, systematic approaches to managing and analysing qualitative data, and (3) Open Data Principles to promote responsible sharing and reuse of data, aligned with ethical standards and legal obligations.
By combining conceptual discussion with hands-on guidance, the curriculum equips researchers, students, and practitioners with the knowledge and confidence to conduct rigorous qualitative research and to share their data responsibly.
Who Made This Possible
A special thanks goes to the training team, and especially to the contributors from Masaryk University, in particular Dorota Vybíralová and Lucie Novotná, for developing this resource.
