Lucie Novotná

Postdoctoral Researcher

Lucie Novotná is a doctoral candidate of Social Policy and Social Work at Masaryk University in the Czech republic. Her research focuses on discursive institutionalism, gender equality, family policies, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe. She has a background in philosophy and her academic work on relationship between freedom, gender equality and policy was published by journal Social Policy and Society. Apart from her academic work, she works as a researcher in the Czech Office of Public Defender of Rights where she evaluates processes of policy implementation and conducts policy analysis.

Her responsibility in AspirE project is to participate in WP2 (socio-legal context). Her primary responsibility is to analyse Czech mobility policies and prepare country report.
