Renata Carone

Renata Carone has been a research assistant at the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES) of the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL) since 2021 and she is a PhD candidate in Public Policy at the same university. During the last two years, she has been conducting interviews and developing fieldwork regarding the Chinese community, under a national project funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), whose main goal was to understand the social integration of these young migrants and also to analyse Migrant Integration Policies in Portugal.
Her main contribution to Aspire is in the scope of WP2 and WP4. She is responsible for the Mobility Policy Analysis in Portugal as well as the qualitative data analysis. Renata supports the writing of scientific papers and reports and she also assists the work of the Postdoctoral researchers with the Chinese community and the local stakeholders. She left the AspirE project in February 2024.
