Ngoc Cham Ho

Postdoctoral Researcher

Dr. Ho Ngoc Cham has been working as a researcher at Vietnam Institute of Sociology, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences since 2006. She received her doctoral degree in sociology from Graduate Academy of Social Sciences in 2020. Dr Cham’s main research foci are on social protection, labour migration and informal sector. In recent years, she has carried out many studies related to vulnerable groups, using qualitative and field methods. She also provided consulting services to in-country and international organizations in Vietnam such as the World Vision, United Nations Fund for Population, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam.

In the AspirE project, together with her team, Dr. Cham’s role is to carry out the tasks regarding WP2, WP4, WP5 and WP7.
