Mimy Keomanichanh is a PhD candidate in socio-anthropology at the Laboratory of Anthropology of Contemporary Worlds (LAMC), Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. Her research focuses on heterosexual mixed couples (Laotian-Belgian and Laotian-French couples), exploring emotions and marriage migration between Laos and Western Europe (Belgium and France).
In the AspirE project, she analyses the temporality of (non-)migration decision-making through video diaries, as part of Work Package 4.
