Mimy Keomanichanh
Postdoctoral Researcher

Mimy Keomanichanh is an anthropologist with a PhD from Université libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. Her research focuses on heterosexual mixed couples (Laotian-Belgian and Laotian-French), exploring emotions and marriage migration between Laos and Western Europe (Belgium and France)
In the AspirE project, she analyses the micro- and meso-levels of (non-)migration decision-making of Asian migrants in Belgium through semi-structured interviews and social network mapping (Work Package 3), as well as the temporality of these decisions through video diaries (Work Package 4).
