Mallory Sokolove

Mallory Sokolove is a first-year Modern East Asian Studies student at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. She received a bachelor's degree in Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with minors in journalism and anthropology. She has focused primarily on diasporic studies during her undergraduate and graduate studies, with special attention to migration to and diasporas within Germany.
Mallory Sokolove has been working with Dr. Ruth Achenbach at Goethe University, focusing on migration from Japan to Germany. She has contributing to WP 2 – 8 as a research assistant. She left the project in October 2023.
