Lucas Monteil is a sociologist and political scientist, in charge of AspirE's WP2 : policy content analysis.
Over the past ten years, his research has explored and intersected issues of sexuality, conjugality, migration, globalization and social class, both in China and among Asian migrants in Europe. As part of a previous postdoc, he studied the evolution of mixed (Belgian-Asian) conjugality in Belgium since 1992 using a quantitative perspective. His PhD at Paris 8 University focused on the socio-political dynamics of homosexuality in mainland China through in-depth fieldwork
