Julie Lien Vrbková

Julie Lien Vrbková is currently a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Mongolian, Korean, and Vietnamese Studies at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University. She also serves as a court interpreter and translator of the Vietnamese language. She spent from 2011 to 2017 in Hanoi, engaged in lecturing and research while pursuing her doctoral studies at the University of Humanities and Social Sciences in Hanoi. Her academic interests focus on a cognitive linguistic approach to the Vietnamese language, the impact of Vietnamese as a native language on learning European languages, the Vietnamese community in European countries, and modern Vietnamese literature.

In the AspirE project, she is involved in WP3 and WP4.
