Ms Hathairat Phaholtap (Wist) had been working as a journalist for 22 years.
Now she works as the editor in chief for the Isaan Record website. She earns several media awards.

In 2017, she got the “Honouring Women Human Rights Defenders” award on occasion
of International Women’s Day 2017 from the National Human Rights Commission of Thailand.
