Steering Committee 2 in Lisbon

The Steering Committee members of AspirE got together on Monday 1st of July 2024 to discuss the progress of the project and the goals ahead. The Portuguese team of the University Institute of Lisbon hosted the event.

This year, most team members were present onsite with a few joining online. While administrative and financial matters were in the agenda, the scientific progress was the richest part of the exchange. Asuncion Fresnoza-Flot provided an overview of the evolution of the project, highlighting the project’s ongoing and upcoming activities. The NGOs working within AspirE shared their activities complimentary to those of university-based members of the project. Our Early Career Researcher Representatives, Laure Sizaire and Tommy Kwan, shared some feedback to the Steering Committee, and the External Experts Advisory Board (EEAB) members provided useful pieces of advice to the consortium members.
