Programme released for “Asian Lives in Europe” exhibition opening

The programme is now available for the opening of “Asian Lives in Europe : a visual journey”, an exhibition organised by the Portuguese team of the AspirE project, featuring Sofia Gaspar, Amaya Langreo, Olga Cojocaru, and Xuheng Wang from Iscte – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.

Over the past three years, the AspirE project has explored how migrants from Asia navigate their aspirations and decision-making between Asia and Europe. The purpose of this exhibition is to tell migrant's stories in an artistic way. The opening day will include visual and video storytelling installations, expert roundtable discussions, a documentary screening based on video diaries, and an intervention by Prof. Asuncion Fresnoza-Flot, Principal Investigator of AspirE.
The exhibition will remain open to the public until 9 January 2026, inviting academics, practitioners, and the wider public to experience the visual and narrative journeys of Asian migrants in Europe.
