Press conference in the Italian Senate

Paola Bonizzoni and Fabio De Blasis from the University of Milan have been invited to speak at a press conference held at the Senate of the Italian Republic about an article they wrote. The press conference was organized on 30 May 2024 as part of the presentation of a report on the labor migration policy in Italy known as ‘decreto flussi’, promoted by the network of civil society organizations "Ero Straniero". This report highlighted the inadequacy of the system in meeting the needs of the Italian labor market, as well as the adverse consequences it produces for migrants in terms of legal status precarity and irregularity, and exposure to labor exploitation.
