Lisbon findings shared during the IX APA Congress

The 9th Congress of the Associação Portuguesa de Antropologia (APA) took place in Viana do Castelo (Portugal) from 16 to 18 July 2025, with an additional online participation option on 14 July. Under the theme Itinerancies, the congress brought together diverse anthropological perspectives to reflect on the cognitive, political, and ethical challenges of studying societies in flux. The programme encouraged contributions across three main lines: (1) itinerancies of anthropology, (2) pathways, mobilities, displacements, and (3) human and non-human Itinerancies.

The Iscte team had the opportunity to share its local findings by presenting a paper entitled Tracking visually the evolving life aspirations and decisions of Chinese youth in Portugal. Thank you Olga Cojocaru, Amaya Sumpsi, and Xuheng Wang, for your contribution!
