For the past three years, The Isaan Record has been following the journeys of migrant workers from Isaan who leave behind poverty in search of a new beginning in the berry forests of Finland and Sweden. With powerful storytelling and years of on-the-ground footage, this documentary reveals the realities behind the so-called “gold rush” of berry picking abroad and shares the voices and struggles of Isaan workers.
