Finland-based findings featured in local journal

AspirE’s research on Thai berry pickers was recently featured in Suomen Kuvalehti, a leading Finnish weekly magazine.

The article examines the long-standing practice of recruiting berry pickers from Thailand to Finland and raises critical questions about labour conditions, including concerns that, in the worst cases, workers may have been exposed to exploitation. It also asks why the system was allowed to continue for nearly 20 years.
