“Blood Berries” documentary nominated for award at the Montreal Women Film Festival

The documentary "Blood Berries" has been nominated for an award at the Montreal Women Film Festival in Canada. The Isaan Record reported that the festival reached out to share the nomination news for the film, which chronicles the experiences of Isaan workers who fell victim to human trafficking in the wild berry picking industry in Finland and Sweden. Winners will soon be announced.

Following its European screenings in countries including Belgium, Germany, Finland, and Greece, "Blood Berries" continues to gain international recognition. The festival’s next documentary and film screenings are set for the summer 2026. Stay tuned for more updates!
