AspirE meets Benoit+Bo

Portugal-based AspirE team members and Catherine Gonzalez (AspirE’s project manager) had the opportunity to meet the French Chinese duo Benoit+Bo, who currently have an exhibit entitled Journey to the West, in the Fundação Oriente - Museu do Oriente in Lisbon.

Inspired by a 16th-century Chinese novel by Wu Cheng’en, this exhibit is an artistic exploration aiming at reflecting on the duo’s journeys across Asia and Europe through visually striking paintings, sculptures, and installations.

If you will be visiting the museum, please take note that you will have access to all the exhibits on display in the Musem, including Benoit+Bo’s that is accessible on floor 0 until 20 October 2024. The exhibit is supported by WBI (Wallonie-Bruxelles International) and Institut français.
