Thailand’s Department of Special Investigation (DSI) laid formal charges on 10 January 2024 against high-ranking officers of the Ministry of Labor for colluding with a company alleged of trafficking Thai workers to pick wild berries in Finland and Sweden. The 14-year-old case involves damages estimated at 36 million baht (about 900,000€).
